Children & Youth

Welcome to St Luke's Church, Children & Youth site

Children, young people and families are at the heart of what goes on here at St Luke’s Church.

Our desire is to support children and families, helping them experience and know God’s transforming love. Children of all ages are welcome at our Sunday morning informal service with activities and crafts provided. We have various midweek groups for children from birth to 16 and even expectant mums.

We have strong links with St Lukes School through school services, assemblies and those members of our Church who sit on the governing board.

Throughout the year, the Youth & Family Ministry organises family events, mission trips and much more. All are welcome to participate in both youth-focused and family-focused activities.

The parish of Sway, St Luke's, is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSOs. The Diocese of Winchester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

If you wish to contact our safeguarding officer, please contact : safeguarding@swaychurch.com
